Keynote Speaker: Rory Sutherland – Behavioural economics for eCommerce & Retail

In his incredible Keynote presentation, Rory Sutherland, explains how behavioural economics can empower retailers and eCommerce brands to better delight their customers. Rory argues that economic models and theories are often too limited in their ability to explain consumer behaviour because they do not account for the subjective experience of individuals. Instead, he proposes that businesses should focus on understanding and catering to the subjective needs and desires of their customers. He points out that with some out-of-the-box thinking, and a honed focus on delighting consumers, retailers/eCommerce brands are able to positively alter their customers perception of their product/service, and increase retention/demand!
